Lifts and Speed
I am planning on putting a jakes long travel kit and 22 inch tires on my 92 G9. It is 36 volts and has a 2450 rpm motor. How is the lift going to affect my speed? I don't want to spend all the money for that lift if the cart is going to be slower. Also the cart is a 4 seater, what can I do to beef up the rear end, the shocks are junk and need to be replaced. Thanks

Re: Lifts and Speed
It's going to be weaker and faster With taller tires you are raising the gear ratio. The tire is the final gear in the gear ratio equation.

Re: Lifts and Speed
Thanks for the info guys. Is it worth spending 800 on a jakes long travel for a 36v electric cart? Eventually I am going to beef up the motor. But the way it is now is it worth the cash for that cart?
