Default 6" Spindle versus 8" A-Arm

Debating between the two for my 2000 Club Car. I've read that the A-Arm kits give a better ride and are more stable... any differing opinions here?

Also, if I was to go with the 8" A-Arm kit... would I have any problems getting into a normal sized garage door? If anyone has a measurement and/or pictures of one with a top on it... I'd certainly appreciate it. I'd hate to build it and have it too big to fit in my garage.. it'd be hell to make the garage door taller. ;)

Thanks.

Between the 2, I like the spindle lifts. I have a 8" spindle lift on mine and its REALLY strong. Just STAY AWAY from BU products. Thier lifts are crap no matter how you look at it. As for the heighth, you'l be fine. I had plenty of room with my Stock Top 8" lift and 26's.

Thanks for the advice. What makes you like the spindle lifts over the a-arms? Curious minds want to know.

I've heard about BU lifts not being strong enough for serious offroading, but I don't plan on offroading at all. Still deciding though. Thanks for the advice.

Sure, i'm full of them.
Spindle lifts are for tractors and riding lawn mowers, If you want your cart to be like one of those then get a spindle lift.

Hi BSR, I never said they were awful. I said if you want your cart to be like(meaning steer and ride like) a riding lawm mower or a tractor then get a spindle lift. cause that the same way they lift those. I guess the reason so many of you have them on your carts is because they are the cheaper of the two lifts.

I have mine because it was the strrongest 8" lift for my cart I could find. PERIOD. Mine doesn't ride like a tractor or lawn mower either. I get 6" of travel which is alot for CC's.
