Default kf82 carb

Does anyone know the model of Mikuni carb for the old flathead kf82 engine.
I am searching for a needle and seat but can only find one kit that is $65. Comes with way more than I need. Cheaper kits do not come with these. Why, I don't know. The carb I have has been sitting empty for years and I'd like to be sure it isn't leaking. Although it was working fine before it was removed and shelved. Thought I'd try searching the carb model. Found a few sites that sell older Mikuni parts but need to know which one I have.

My parts book shows a NEEDLE VALVE ASSEMBLY you can get without the whole kit. Part # is 1012791. Nowhere in my parts book or service manual can I find a carb model #.

Good Luck

Now I cannot find that part. Called a few places and they say that it is unavailable. Know anywhere where I might be able to find it?

If you can find a local guy that works on CC's he might be of some help with a part.

Well according to the dealer, the Kawasaki part # is 16030-2077.
I'm attempting to search for that and be sure it's right for that carb.
Little results so far. I have gotten wrong parts before by calling. Much better to have them in person to check but there is no place close that claims to have this. I might have to trust them and just order.

That's the needle and seat.

I dont know if I am remembering the right info or not but I think they also used these motors on John Deeres and J D parts are everywhere. Might be worth a try.

Someone correct me if i am wrong.
