10 mm nut on govener
I just read the thread "hold my hand..." by mysteryman and it seemed to have some good info on adjusting the govener on a g9. is this the same for a g2? I as sooo new to this could someone maybe send me a pic of what he is talking about. I just want more top end speed from my g2 my drag racing days are long over.

yes.pictures kinda hazy.there is also a sticky on how to bypass the governor in the "gas yamaha" forum. bypassed mine awhile ago.power is awesome with a stock (bored .50 out) g2.good luck.takes about 1/2 hour.

I can see the blurry spring they talk about. The round blur is probably the nut. It looks like it's on a blurry threaded shaft. now my eyes are blurry. Take a break.
