92 ezgo marathon throttle
The key was left on and now the cart wants to go without depressing the accelerator. What should I be looking for?

Re: 92 ezgo marathon throttle
Look for a couple of things.
1st. This is usually a resistor coil cart problem. So verify that the cart has an electronic speed controller in it. 2nd. check that the pedal is coming all the way up when it is let off. If yes = Test the potentiometer output. Ensure it is coming back to 0-100 ohms when the pedal is up. If not adjust it so it does. 3rd. Test the solenoid to ensure the main contacts are not welded closed. |
