Re: Amsoil small engine or amsoil signature series or neither
They wouldn’t put anything on the label itself. Those are printed in mass quantities so they’re all the same.
Somewhere stamped on the bottle itself you’ll probably find a lot number. There’s likely no information you would ever be able to get out of the lot number, every manufacturer of every type of product uses a completely different system. Some are obvious manufactured dates some are codes and some are just sequential lots of production. They don’t do this for dating per se, but rather traceability purposes. If they find a contaminated lot leaves the plant they can locate and quarantine units from that particular lot. Just one example. Either way it’s not going to have an expiration date like a gallon of milk. There’s too many variables that would affect the lifespan for that. Mainly storage conditions… something stored in a climate controlled warehouse is going to last a lot longer than something stored in a 110 degree warehouse in south texas for example. |

Still wrong. Maybe you should try that “Google” thing for yourself once in a while before posting nonsense as if it were factual information

Re: Amsoil small engine or amsoil signature series or neither
Everything has an expriation date. Nothing lasts forever. Everything degrades, even if sealed up. Google says MRE's last 30 years, would you want to eat 30 year old food? I've done it, it's not good. It's edible, but doesn't taste like 2 year old MRE food. The point is, even if something old is "usable" doesn't mean it's in the same condition as "new", oil is no different.
Google isn't a "fact finder" it's a "website finder". Don't trust everything you read on Google. IMO, use new oil. Why use old oil? Change oil often. Why let dirt and sludge build up? Dirt and sludge are the Jason Voorhees of engines. |

Sorry I thought it said that when It’s in the drum it doesn’t go bad but it said that it doesn’t go bad in the food dose
