Default Sanity check on solenoid wiring G29

I am replacing my solenoid and my controller. The solenoid is a MZJ400A (here's the wiring diagram) and I'm hooking up an Alltrax XCT500 controller (Wiring Diagram for controller). I think I have the wiring backwards but at this point I've been looking at it so long that I am confused.

Here's a picture of how I have the solenoid wired right now. Before I hook it up to the battery, I would greatly appreciate someone checking my work.

Looks fine. Don't get hung up on left & right. The solenoid doesn't care which terminal does what, it just connects and disconnects them.

OK a couple items, that wiring termination needs to be redone with a shrink sleeve. Also, I believe the terminations go under the metal plate on the XCT, not sure of that though. They may be held up to help keep heat off of the plastic. I'd definitely shrink tube those terminations though. Moisture is hell...

Yes, I've got shrink-wrap on order from Amazon that I'll be able to slip over the connections. Thanks!

The cable lug on top of the terminal plate is the correct way to mount the cables to the Alltrax Controller.

Just make sure you keep pressure down when tightening so the hex nut stays inside the captive recess.

You also do not want any washers or other small ring terminals under any high current cable.

You need to redo the Solenoid so the cable lug goes in direct contact with the Solenoid contact plate, any other small ring connectors go on top of the main ones.
