Rear end locked up

My kids tried to pull our 2007 ezgo electric home after running the batteries down. They used a truck, (not sure of towing speed used) and the rear end locked up about half way home. I found out they didn't put it in tow mode and were probably towing too fast. I pushed it onto my trailer and charged the batteries. Still cannot move the rear wheels even in tow mode in neutral. Fwd and Rev do not work either. What do I do?

Dis-own the kids

Mark the cables and disconnect and pull the motor.... it probably looks like spaghetti in the can.... hopefully it didn't take the controller with it.

I agree,sounds like some expense a controller is in the making. Sounds like an excuse to move uo to a 400 amp.

The last one I had a customer do this too, got motor and controller.

I had pics in a post I started, but just deleted them a few weeks ago.

You will need to pull the motor. It will be destroyed.

Welcome and lsorry to say, it don't sound good. The plus side is it looks like you have a reason to upgrade..and the kid can pay for it :-)
