Best upgrades for 23hp Briggs
There are so many upgrades for this engine I dont know what to go with. I dont care about gaining any more hp but I do want more speed with out risk of damaging the engine. I also want it to be as reliable as possible. What are some good upgrades to go with the high rev kit and billet intake with cone air filter?
Frank I wouldnt mind your opinion here. |

A simple rev kit is what you want. I just put one in my Workhorse. It will also keep you from over reving a non governed motor. I'm not sure how many rpms you can achieve with a stock cam, but I think thats what your needing. The intake is just a bonus...

You can place an adapter in the spark plug hole and use compressed air to keep the valves closed when putting the new springs and keepers back on.
