2002 ezgo intermittent spark
I have a 2002 ezgo txt that has intermittent spark. If you let it set for a while it will start and run for 5 minutes then quit. I pulled a spark plug wire and inserted a new plug and grounded it with a jumper wire. When the engine first turns over there is no spark, but as I continued to run the engine the spark came back very weak. The longer I ran the engine the spark got stronger until it just went away. The ohm reading on the pulsar coil is 21.9 with the meter set on 200. The air gap of the pulsar coil is .021. The ohm reading on the ignition coil primary is 4.8 with the meter set on 200 and the secondary side is 16.88 with the meter set on the 20k. Any setting less than 20k I couldn't get any reading. I have checked and cleaned all of the connections and verified continuity on all of the wires. I have 12 volts at the igniter wire on the solenoid. I would greatly appreciate any advise or help you can give me.
Thank You |
