Default Negative Camber Adjustment - 1990 Club Car DS

I have a 1990 Club Car DS with a 4" Z-lift (which uses the stock front suspension assembly). I noticed that it has a slight negative camber on both front tires. I've seen and read about the bolt in the middle of the leaf spring that is supposed to correct camber and even it up between the two front wheels, but this doesn't seem to be the adjustment I'm needing from the diagrams I've seen. Is there an adjustment, or is the leaf spring just worn out and sagging? I have an extra front leaf spring from a 1987 cart that will work, but I just want to make sure I'm not doing this the hard way.

What condition are the bushings in? Kind of looks to me like you may have some worn bushings. Try lifting the front end off the ground and try moving the wheels in and out to see if there is any slop in any of the suspension components.

I agree. Either that or the front leaf spring is worn.

Just got around to fixing this. The spring bushings were shot. Looks way better and feels nice and tight up front now.

Looks good. Front end parts are often overlooked. Anytime I have one part fail I inspect the rest of them thoroughly and typically replace all the front end components. Steering and front suspension parts you don't want to let be in disrepair. Far too dangerous if something fails.

Glad you got it fixed

Yeah I tore down the entire front end. In addition to the saggy camber, I also had an irregular "cracking" noise that the front suspension would make from time to time when driving off-road. I can only assume it was metal-to-metal from those bushings being destroyed. But I cleaned everything up and re-greased so we're good now.
