I just installed a gtw 5” drop axle lift kit. Everything lined up perfect but the tie rod is to long, leaving a bad toe in problem. Does anybody know what to do??

Keeping steering wheel straight adjust the rack and pinion until passenger wheel is straight, then adjust toe-in.

Thank you! I will try that this afternoon and see. There was about a 2 inch difference from spindle to spindle on old axle and new axle.

It’s about 2” to long so adjusting rack that much is really going to affect my steering isn’t it?

Do you have a picture? Pictures help when trying to actually visualize what you are talking about.

It is a 2011 ezgo st sport 2. It does not have the factory lift like I have heard most of them do. I found out today that they technically don’t make a lift for this cart but the txt should work. I had the mechanic at work look at it today and he is going to cut my tie rod 2 1/2 inches and he is going to modify the rack to make it work as well. In order for the steering to have 2 complete turns each way, the rack will need to be adjusted about 1 1/2 shorter as well.
