I aquired a 99 dcs cart, Fleet I believe. Former owner said it was running fine & then one day it just quit & ran the batterries down. Well when I got it home the batteries had been run totally dead. Had to charge two @ a time to get voltage up so that the 36 volt charger would even work. After hooking battery cables back in series I went to hook up the negative post to test & nothing but spark. I've check and double checked battery wiring, no bare wires or any cross that I can see. 36 volts at batteries with Volt meter.

Perform test with downloaded manual & schematic still can't find problem. I'm leaning toward the controller. Any way to check it before I invest in different one? I'm stumped

If it's a DCS it has a run/tow switch on the controller cover.
