2012 EXGO RXV Differential Noise
I have a 2012 RXV and has worked great until the grandkids showed up last weekend. They tend to go about as fast and hard as they can (when i'm not looking)
At the end of their visit I saw them driving the cart into the barn and on a low speed right turn, I heard a loud grind? I have since ridden it around and it make that terrible grinding sound every once and a while. I pulled the hubs and the splines are perfect. Greased and installed again. Then I changed the fluid in the differential, making sure I added limited slip oil as directed. I had cleaned everything out with brake cleaner. Still makes the noise. My guess is the kids did something to the cart but I can't figure out what. The noise is loud enough to make me nervous. Seems to happen more when it's colder outside. I have recorded the noise so maybe someone can point me in the right direction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vpr1JWorAig https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HosWNd3KGA |
