Default Disc Brake Kit

in the process of installing a Jakes long travel kit in my G11 also going to d oa big block swap im looking for a disc brake kit for the front Jakes told me their disc brake kit will not work on my G11 does anyone know if it will fit ?? any help would be appreciated

Well if Jakes said it won't fit..... Did they elaborate on why? Maybe it's something that can be machined/modified. I'd call them back and talk to a tech and see if you can get an answer. Also, you can probably download the installation info for a similar model and see if there's anything visible in the photos etc. It must have something to do with how the master cylinder is mounted.

Well started doing the Jakes Long Travel Lift install i removed all the stock front suspension i have the new front subframe all installed and leveled to the cart waiting for some parts for the steering box

so far only concern is all the heim joints were loose and were all different lengths Jakes told me to start off with heims backed out 1 1/2 tuurns from all the way in but the jamb nuts are hitting the main subframe so im going to start with 3 turns out

ok i think i have the arms all figured out i have them adjusted to get 0 degrees on both as a starting point still waiting for hubs and steering parts but heres what it looks like so far

so since i cannot go any further on the suspension started to install the disc brake kit and already have problems i installed the master cylinder bracket as per the instructions and loosely installed the master cylinder and the clevis on the master is approx 1" past the pin on the pedal the new pin is supposed to go where the factory pin is and connect both the new master and the old rear brake rod. I think i am going to drill the rear brake rod and install the new pin there to connect the new front master

As I suspected the issue with fitment would be in the master cylinder location. Yes it looks like you can drill a new hole and mount a through bolt to connect the master cyl clevis to the brake clevis? I think that's what you were saying? That's how I'd do it. Did they include a bolt or pin for that?
