Default Yamaha g29..debating navitas 440a vs ac swap

if anyone's done either of the two options I'd appreciate know what your results were. Cart has 4" lift on 15" wheels, 23" all terrains, brand new 8x 6volt us 2200s, 2ga cables throughout

Well, while I've never done a Navitas AC conversion, I've done many HPEVS conversions. AC does rock... another thing I can add is this, I once had a guy send his "AC conversion G19e" cart in for "range is suffering, can barely play 18 holes", and he was somehow still (just barely) playing 18 holes on batteries that only met 50% of the Bare Minimum of a standard battery test score (below 60 minutes on the official test machine is a fail, time to consider new batteries). I'm sure his carts performance was pretty "sluggish" by that point, but he made it. He had to feel like a Ferrari owner again, after new batteries (he had a small Ferrari logo on his dash). The official test machine basically calls batteries that only meet 50% of their original capacity bad, so he was running on 25% of original capacity, at best. I guess what I'm saying is that AC is quite efficient. And what I can say with zero speculation is that AC can offer amazing performance. I used to think "AC is great, but it hates 'jumping over a log at low speeds'", but I have since learned that was just 'boring/lame calibration', it can do anything you want it to do, if calibrated correctly. A good AC system costs a little more, but I cant think of a situation where I wouldnt go AC, if it was available to me (and the few extra bucks didnt stop me from doing so).

I have a newer cart, g29 with the AC motor. With the Navitas controller it can easily reach 30 mph. I honesty haven't even tried to mess with the the settings all that much, I keep the acceleration turned down quite a bit because I don't have many hills around me and the wife freaks out if the accelerator is too touchy. A worthwhile mod!

Just installed mine tonight. With blue havoc body, black and blue mods 14" wheels on 20" tires. Gonna test it out tmoro. I have the dealer app and turned it to 400a and 8000 rpm and that says it should get 38 mph. My rxv hit about that with a much lower gear ratio and smaller tires.

Will do when finished. Needs some new parts I just ordered today, dash, roof supports, and the throttle spring that I can't seem to find. Will post when finished

I love mine. How do you like yours so far and what settings do you mainly run on it?
