Default 2017 Gas Yamaha Vibration

I've got a new Drive Gas with IRS. I love it. I am hearing a pulsating vibration at 16 to 18 mph that so far Yamaha hasn't been able to diagnose and or fix. Just curious if anybody else has this issue.

My cart runs 22 mph and above 18 it disappears. I hear it going up and coming down.

Did you take it to a shop or just call Yamaha?

It's been looked at by 2 Yamaha factory people. They've done a few things but nothing has changed it.

It's not that bad but it's consistent and annoying.

I've ran by this issue a lot lately. Remove the rear access panel, find the grease fitting on the secondary clutch and put 2-3 pumps of grease in it. Drive it for an extended distance and see if it goes away.

Olson Boy, I went by my dealer today and it appears to have worked. Thank you. Yamaha needs to hear this.

Yea, Yamaha doesn't put near enough grease in their clutches from the factory. Keep me updated and let me know if the sound comes back.

Olson Boy,
2 days, almost 10 miles no issue. Then it sat for a few hours and I drove it last night and it was back. Worse maybe. Drove it about 1 mile, stopped for an hour and when I came out it was gone again. It only does it between 16 and 18 mph going up and coming down in speed. If you get in that sweet spot when it's doing it it's rhythmic. The grease definitely did stop it for a while.
