Default kf-82 valve train

does anyone know where to get the inserts for the valve tappets to adjust valve clearance?

Are you missing some parts or are you looking for some kind of tool? I have a KF82 motor in pieces in my basement, do you need something from it? When I rebuilt one of my KF82 motors after it threw a rod, I never messed with any of the valvetrain parts so I'm not sure what you are needing.

i might call things wrong but here is what i am looking for off of the cam there are 2 pieces that relay motion up to the valves (i think these are the tappets) in the end that pushes against the valve there is an insert i beleve this is for adjusting the valve lash i am missing both inserts

I think I know what you mean now, they're like little caps that have like a small stem section that goes down into the lifter. I'm 80% pretty sure I do have those. I'll check when I get home.

BTW, there are dozens of different sizes. That's how you get proper valve clearance.....
