Default Guide to Install Wink Mirror?

I bought a 5-panel Wink mirror, and I'd like to find some instructions on installing it.

I found some on Shop E-Z-GO, but it's very poorly written.

Anybody know of where I can find some better instructions?

I mounted mine to the top but really I found it should be mounted to the front roof bar.
I can take some pictures of mine but what I found is to me it is to high so looking out isn't as good. I will be moving mine to the bars soon and lowering it so I have better field of view behind me.
I will snap some pics and post in just a few minutes.

In these pics you will notice the deep part is to the left and the flush part of the wink is on the right.

The L brackets as I have them are turned in since I mounted it to the roof but you would flip them out and mount them down on the hoop.

I would mount the mirror so that the bottom was between 5-6 inches away from the roof. This should give you a good wide field of view.

Thanks Spawn!

I appreciate the pics and the tips!

I'm wondering though. The mirror came with a bunch of screws, well, the frame is hollow...

Yeah you don't want to go all the way through the bar if you have a windshield. You can see the tabs by the mirror that hold it when its flipped up. Just drill your hole a little smaller than the screw or go get some self tapping sheet metal screws to mount the L brackets. I use the screws with the tip that drills itself and they work great!

I have a overhead stereo and plan to fish the power wire down the inside of my bar.

Good idea!

I just finished installing it. Unfortunately, I had to mount it on the plastic top as you did. It required about 35" and the top bar is less than that. It shakes around like crazy, but as long as I can see what's behind me, I don't care.

Thanks for your help!

Yeah the wiggle gets old but they do make a longer bracket if yours didnt come with it.

Trust me down the road you will want to move it down.

Glad you got it on though!
