electric 35 ezgo conversion

electric 35 ez go conversion: ok it it possible to turn a eclectic ez go into a gasoline/gas ez go? i do not know the model but it a topless ezgo 35 the motor is electric and is bad beyond repair i wanna know if it is possible to put a motorcycle engine with out changing the transmission

it looks like this one but is white and no top right now is completely striped in my garage!

Not to try and bust an Idea bubble or question anyones fabrication capabilities but IMO it's really not worth the time and effort to convert an electric golf car to use a motorcycle engine. You could not use any of the rear axle components.....basically would just end up putting a swing-arm in the back with a cradle for the engine. Unless you happen to have all the parts available right there in front of you and they are free you would be better off fixing the electrical components.

You can do almost anything with a welder and a cutting torch..i mounted a 750 honda motor to an eletric golf cart it dont go to fast but sounds wicked...oh and ive gone through 4 rearends

I have rebuilt two of them. Parts are hard to find. I ended up putting a late model steering in the wrecker.

I bought this one to use to fix the other one. After I got it home and put batteries in it it ran so I sold it.

That is cool, being a mechanic and tow truck owner, I love the tow truck cart! can you tow other carts?

I brought my cart to my place out in the country. It gets around ok, I had to replace a few wires that had to much resistance, my F/R switch started smoking going up a steep hill, so I need to look into that. It is very slow on hills, I guess these were made more for flat ground. I am wanting to make it fast on hills plus I would like to lift it up for clearance on the rough rock roads

Yes I pull the dragster with it at the races.
I've been thinking about lifting it also.
I want to make a rollback out of one if I ever get time.
