Would you ?
I was gifted a Yamaha G1a. I rebuilt the bottom end years ago and now put a new top end on it. Now my crazy mind is thinking.... I have a B & S 18 hp built on the work bench and it is in the way! I called my old golf car buddies and may get a G2 shifter transaxle to build another lower rider scoot. I still have Yamahauler, but I need something to create, if you know what I mean. Any good vibes would be welcomed. Man I wished I would have made the deal on that "Cobra" body years ago !

Re: Would you ?
Dave you don't need the body yet. Get started on stuffing that drive train in the frame! You know I will be watching. Can't wait!!

Re: Would you ?
With your skills I wonder if you could take a cobra go kart body then widen and stretch it ?

Re: Would you ?
My back felt well enough to take the battery out of the Mercedes and try to start the rebuilt G1. It sounds so good, I'm thinking I'll just keep it a G1. The body parts (even the front cowel) are fiberglass Easy to paint. Or ? Also have the rear top frame and several windshield frames, just no top. Boat seats or maybe the Coleman go cart seat Then pedal it off (my garage is full !). I did buy a "mini chopper frame" last year, maybe the Briggs will fit

Build time! Been too long. Go for it.
I'll be watching too. Maybe I'll get inspired to resurrect the Workhorse. |
