Re: The transplant begins
Been a while since I posted anything so will try to update a little..cart is running and pretty darn good I think..wish I could stop reading all these posts..they just keep me busy trying them out..had a modified 28 degree driven clutch on the 9hp EXGO wanted to try it with the big block with a comet 1190..NOT A GOOD COMBINATION..out of the hole like a jack rabbit but unfortunatly it started as soon as you turned the keynot a good thing in camp..rebuilt a 36degree clutch (thanks Tom for the parts) in the process built a jig to work on the clutch..happy to say I like it:thumbup..the clutch:..wonder if there is a modification to make it (stock EZGO driven clutch)like the 1 7/32 wide belt a little better..no biggie if there isn't as I'm REAL HAPPY with it as it is..but always lookin..some pics of the cart without the body ..sanding and preping it for paint SOON

Re: The transplant begins
Tom,would also like more info I'm running a MAX2# MAX1107M2 snowmobile belt and depending on who's site you go to the demensions are OC46 29/32 or 47 1/8 a 7/32 difference however the dimension I'm most interested in is the width again one site says 1 7/32 the other 1 1/4 a mere 32 difference so will I notice any difference in performance or more important belt life? top speed is as we all know a quest however I want a strong low and mid range for desert crusing and sand hills.Enlighten us seems I'm not the only one with belt questions..thanks
