Question Here's a new one...

I was driving today at about half throttle, had only been driving about 10 miniutes, when all of a sudden I lost forward momentum/power and the reverse alarm started sounding.

I came to a stop, put the car into reverse and coasted backwards a few feet (I was a slight incline) to get off the road. Then I put the car back into forward and all seemed fine.

Any ideas what was going?

Do these carts have speed sensors on the motors?

No ideas but keep an eye on it. Could have been your fwd/rev switch is failing.
