Convertible top for my Onward
So I'm gonna be working on a custom convertible top for my cart.
One glaring question comes to mind....... Why is there almost no one that makes them? I know of only one and its not anything like I would want. Have I missed any? I have been a jeep owner since I was a teenager so my "convertible inspiration" is coming from my 1954 38a1. This picture is not of mine as I don't own a top for my military one. I do however have a Bestop soft top in the attic from my 1960 CJ5 and it will likely be the donor for this project. I was wondering if anyone has done or has pictures of this style roll bar on a 4 passenger cart? I have seen rear support bars that are bent square, much like the arms rests of the rear seats. But I'm old school and want the jeep/pickup style slant support if its gonna happen that way. I have a few ideas but I wanted to kill this one first. Im not dead set on this so if anyone has any ideas to bounce around please light it up. |
