You might look at the long travel kit made by stretch plastics. It's similar to a 3 link desgin.

Put 'em on and taken 'em all back off. A nice idea, but not recommended for a cart with a rear seat.
My 2 cents from experience... |

Mike, would you say that it is better suited for a two seater cart for play?

Re: rear independent on ezgo
Yes - But the Strech kit has some flaws. I think that unless you're going to spend some serious cash on shocks, you're better off staying with rear leafs...

Do you think EZ-GO should stay leaf spring or can coil over work.

Re: rear independent on ezgo
It's just my opinion, but I personally don't like what is available for EZGO coil over rear suspensions. The best looking kit (although I have never used this) is the 3 link that I have seen at Terra Toys and Alpha Carts (same kit). The Strech kit is OK, but with the rear arms allowing to pivot let the rear axle move forward / backwards. Since most all our carts are 4 or 6 passenger, I just don't use any rear coil overs. We have our own rear leaf setup that has worked well over the past few years. Without making someone mad that HAS a rear coil system - I just don't like the "roll" you get from side to side.

I agree about the roll. I'm trying to find a good solution for my Yamaha with out going down to the spring shop and buying 3 sets of coil overs in hopes of finding one I like. The search continues. Thanks Mike!

Re: rear independent on ezgo
I just finished a home made 4 link. Still need to wire up the motor before i can test drive. Im using rear shocks off a sportsman 500, if anything they might be a little stiff. But again I havn't had a test drive to see. And they are on in the middle of the adjustment so I have a little bit of play. My brother and I can jump on the back at the same time, it is plush without sinking too much so only time will tell. Im good in the garage but not on the computer, so as soon as I can figure out how to put pics on I will have some up.
