![]() You know this has been a much discussed topic with the much lighter carts with lithium. And I feel DaveTM really had good solution if you currently have the HD 4 leaf as I do. I have to do something because I'm bouncing my wife all around too.

![]() My solution to the bumpy ride was lots more pizza, BBQ, and beer. Very effective and way more enjoyable than breaking apart leaf spring packs

![]() Well....I got credit for something. Hey....even a blind squirrel finds an acorn....occasionally!!
![]() ![]() ![]() It looks like you left the shortest leaf attached to the main leaf. I think I left on either the next longest leaf, or the one right before the shorty. ![]() |

![]() I have Clubcar DS with Lithium and am in same boat. Too much bounce. My cart has Jakes4" lift kit installed by previous owner and has same leaf-springs from your pictures.
Did removing couple of leafs make much difference? And in front what do you have (double a-arm or the factory setting)? |

Pulling out a few leaf's made a big difference in my ride. The rear now travels up 'n down more, but the "spring back" from being compressed is much softer. I think your springs should match your conditions. For example, if you pull out all 3 of your springs, and you and one other person sits in the cart and it sags just sitting there.....well I'd say you need more. So, you may want to go with using 2 leafs on each side vs. just one. It's sort of a "SWAG" on how many of the 4 springs should be left. I went with leaving the main spring, and one more (the next longest) and was very happy with that. FWIW ![]() |
