Exclamation Tech Direct pack install not working

2002 EZGO TXT 36V stock controller, stock motor, new MJZ-400A Solenoid. Used the same 5406 diode and Resistor is 250 ohm that came off of the old 36v Solenoid.

I have been losing my mind. I have been all over the forms and facebook and can't find an answer. Hoping you jedi's can help me out?

I bought this - https://www.techdirectclub.com/48-vo...rger-lot-of-2/

Using only one of the batteries right now 52v currently

Bypassed the reed switch via this thread http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=777>

I hooked up the anderson connector from new battery pack to a small bus bar with
+ to solenoid
+ to charger interlock wire

- to controller
- charger interlock wire to same post on controller

I had the original 36v Solenoid hooked up at first and the same thing is happening, step on the gas pedal and the solenoid just clicks! multimeter is showing 52v at the top of the controller. From the top of the controller to the motor is 52v stepping on the pedal, clicks and no drop in voltage. PLEASE HELP ME OUT!?

I wonder if you're over the max V for the controller. IDK what the stock 36v controller is good for as a max V. Going to 52 on a 36 might be a bridge too far.

Gone way too far. The old 36V controllers internal voltage regulator usually fries at voltages in excess of 45-46V when it is turned on.

You'll have a new problem because max amps from that pack is 60A. Tech Direct knows nothing about what is required to run a golf cart, especially with a more powerful Alltrax. Pack will shut down on you when you hit the 60A cutoff. Others have found out the same thing here on BGW.

fixed it. had to tighten down the other posts and now im good! EXCEPT now in reverse at speed everything dies. I have to unplug and plug the battery back in and then it works again. Any idea if the Alltrax is doing this?

Can you point me to the threads? I adjusted the alltraxs to work now but if i slam the pedal down in forward or reverse everything dies and i have to flip the switch on the tech direct pack to get it going again. If i take it easy on the pedal i am ok.

Might wanna look into ditching the tech setup and just use the modules and get a bms.
