Default 93 Club Car Won't Move

I sure have enjoyed reading this board it has helped me a lot. Now I am stumped on a problem.93 elect. cc ds single solenoid ,V glide with speed controller. it started out interment problem put in forward or reverse sometimes it would go sometimes it would not move,solenoid was clicking till I tried to jump it and shorted something out now nothing happens.I checked with voltmeter and have no power going to solenoid now.I just don't know what to test next.did they put obc on this old of car if so where is it? thanks for any advice you might have.93

Sometimes Jumping a Sloenoid causes more trouble than it solves. There is enough amperage to weld with under the seat of an electric golf cart. I say this because a lot people are too quick to suggest jumping the solenoid to a novice mechanic. In this case the solenoid was already Clicking which means it was working in 99.9% of the cases........now it is not.
First you have to understand what a solenoid is and how it works.
It is a simple high voltage switch between the large posts.
It is actuated by positive & negative current at the small posts.
It is likely you no longer have the pos and/or the neg at the activation circuit.

They made 2 drive systems in '93 we need to know if your cart has resistor coils behind the batteries?

theis to Buggies Gone Wild .

Check to see if old solinoid is bad (NOW) if so replace (with new Heavy Duty
While you are at it) .
