If the tow switch fuse is blown, it should be in tow mode. Sounds like you have a controller problem or a wiring problem that is getting power to the ignition switch when it's in tow mode. I bet on the wiring problem.

This conflicts with what you said a few posts back and makes it very difficult to help diagnose a problem. I said "You disconnect the wire from the switch and its no go." You said "Correct to all".

Anyway the fuse is not your problem. Touching the two switch wires will make it run. Disconnecting them should make the car stop.
In your case you need to find out how you are feeding voltage to the Red/Yellow wire with it disconnected from the tow/run switch.
The red wire is the voltage source.

Thanks again gents, have been more than busy so unable to get here
Update, the cart tows when main plug to controller is pulled and runs regardless of switch position, connect or disconnect of red/yellow wires excetera when plug reconnected.
Issue in wiring somewhere between switch and controller?
