Default Mikuni throttle cable setup

38mm mikuni knock off. Full swing on the ezgo gas pedal only opens the slide to barely raise above idle. Are there any type of lever setups that will help or any input to get full throttle?

I am a big fan of the speedway motors bell crank. It can be seen on pages 5 and 6 of my 440 cc sled build. There it is pulling a Mikuni VM 34. I will also use this set up on my VC 460 Omega when I get around installing it.

I made my own bellcrank on two different occasions, worked flawlessly. Here is a video of the bellcrank used on a 23hp vanguard with a Mikuni VM34. It's just some aluminum I had on hand, mounted it to some existing bolts, used small machine screws with washers and nylon lock nuts. The cables are held in with brass cable stops from the auto parts store. I made multiple mounting holes to get it tuned just right. It was smooth and got full travel.
