Default New Batteries- Speed Loss

Club Car DS, I Just replaced the Batteries and went to 4 gauge Wires. On the initial drive the Cart drove normal for a couple hundred yards then goes into a slow and steady speed mode?? I believe the Cart went around 12MPH now it seems to be around 2-3 MPH. the Batteries I purchased are 190amp batteries if this matters.

Welcome to BGW!

Did you charge these new batteries yet? New batteries rarely have a good charge on them when purchased.

I Have. I did a full charge hoping it was the problem. It wasn't. Any other ideas?

I did the Test. No Braking or Beeping from the Cart. It just rolled to a stop. Sounds like this could be the issue. Is there anything I should know before changing the Speed Sensor?

Sounds like your speed sensor is bad. I have never personally replaced one, but I have heard it's two screws and a pigtail...
