Default New cart and New project

I am new to carts and don't know much about them except they are fun.
I found an 03 EZGO Series today and it followed me home.

I am thinking I will put a All Sport spindle lift on it. I would like to put a set of 22 or 23 in tires and 10 or 12 inch alum wheels on as well. I am on a budget so I guess it will depend on what I can find the best deal on.

I will also be upgrading the controller as well. As time and money permits I would like to upgrade to a 48 volt system and maybe a different motor. I would love some input on all this as I have no clue.

I can get #4 welding cable easy as we use that at work and we alway have short left over pieces.

Any help or advise would be great. This is going to be used to turkey hunt and shoot sporting clays out of, as well as just have some fun with. Here are some pictures of the cart as is:

It followed you home? Did you check to see if it has tags or identification on it? It's owners are probably heart broken. Most of us here are on limited budgets as well; But after the bug bites you (and it will)and you can talk the wife into refinancing the house for Buggy upgrades and it all works out.Sorry I'm no help with the newer carts but someone will be along to add thier $.02. Keep us posted.

I have been on the phone with Wicked Carts (SUPER HELPFUL) and I have tires, wheels, and a lift kit coming. I will post pictures of what I have coming as soon as I figure out what it is that I bought and how to do it
