I agree best to replace, but some i have repaired are still working fine and over two years since i refurbished them. So pretty good mileage in my opinion. I am old school, well, lets just say Old Lol, i was brought up to repair rather than replace so habits die hard. I get upset if i have to replace anything cos i cannot fix it.

Plus fixing my personal stuff keeps coins in MY pocket, not someone elses LOL

I've found that if you take used paper towels and wash them completely, with hot water and lots of soap, then rinse them 3 or 4 times, then carefully hang them on a line to dry, I can save about 37 cents per day. Of course, it takes a couple hours and bit of work.

Are we talking kitchen paper roll, here or bathroom paper roll, as i do both
