I know what y'all mean....I have a spot down the road from my subdivision....same thing, and the critters KNOW they are safe!! I stopped one day and took this picture.....this bull and doe was only about 75-100 foot from me!!

Hunting Island near Beaufort SC is a state park so no hunting. Counted 40 plus deer coming home from shrimping one night i about a 1 mile stretch .. They just know..
