Changing ezgo throttle output
I am trying to figure out how to change my throttle output from ezgo its to 0-5k
Has anyone out there done this? I havnt had much luck finding any info any help is greatly appreciated |

There was one guy who did manage to install a potentiometer in the throttle box... we didn't get any pics

Do you mean litrally change it? As in parts wise? Are you wanting to change the programing in the controller?

From another thread, we know he has a non programmable race controller that has a 0-5k input.

Ok,
then all he needs is to take the ITS stuff off and replace it with a Rod form pedal to pot box like on any other conversion. He ould do t as Mac did his dragster also with it mounted up high and in frnt of the pedal. Even use some small 1/4" cable with sleeving to mount it in the front of the cart. dvance auto sell's differant lenght's of cables and they have the otter sleeve already on them. |

That cable stuff is a good idea. You could have to the pot anywhere on the cart ...use the Ezgo Gas Cable attachment cam used in the peddle box on gassers = problem solved.
