Battery/Winch question
I need a new battery, mine will no longer hold a charge. It has slowly been dying since before I got my winch.
My question is directed to the guys who have winches on thier carts. Does the stocker have enough juice to work the winch or is there an upgrade to a larger or maybe a deep cycle battery? The few times I have used the winch it hasn't performed the way I had expected but I assume that is because of the weak battery. The winch is a Warn 3000# unit for a Arctic Cat Prowler. |

Re: Battery/Winch question
furball, I would buy the largest automotive battery that will fit. I have a group 24 and it works fine.

Re: Battery/Winch question
agreed with above.
I put a bigger battery in the carts when they need a new battery. IMO you can never have too many amps. I put 850cca batteries in them. |
