Question 1993 Gas DS transaxle- Transmission

Ok, so maybe some stupidity on my part, looking for clarification, first gas cart. Still learning. Have a 2015 electric Precedent to so... On my 93 DS (just got for a winter project) manual shows SAE 30 for the transaxle. 80W90 for the transmission. Did the transaxle with the 30. The transmission sits above right of the transaxle looking forward ?? was going to change that fluid, lower right drain nut and above that the fill nut. Looking to learn and some guidance. Thanks

Yes, the transmission case uses 80w-90 gear oil. Most people just run 80-90 in the axle case as well.

Drain/fill plugs for the axle case will be on the “center“ chunk. Transmission case plugs will be on the same side as the clutches on the same case as the secondary clutch.

There used to be some Diagrams/photos of the drain/fill locations around here but I can’t seem to find any right now.

Thanks for the clarification. That’s what thought. I believe they are the the 2 larger bolts. Drain and fill the same way as the axle case? Thanks

Just searched and found the thread with the pics and diagram. Thanks again. I’m sure the transmission fluid will be as bad as the engine and transaxle oils. Already removed cleaned the carb and did the DS tune up kit. Runs good. Now for paint, seats, lift kit, wheels/tires and other accessories.
