Yamaha G29- won't move after short stops
Hello.
I have a 2010 YDRE, G29 Yamaha golf cart. This problem has been intermittently occurring for 3 months now. The cart will run for 20 min, no problem. When we stop it for 5-10 minutes (sometimes less), the cart will not move in forward or reverse. The solenoid does click. After about a 20 min wait, it runs again. So far, I've replaced the solenoid, Forward/reverse switch, controller, and throttle sensor. The same issue is still occurring. It seems to be getting more frequent. The next possible issue on my list is the motor, but that's another expensive item that might not fix the issue. Any help is appreciated. Any suggestion? |

Pull the motor & inspect the brushes & commutator. Motors on those are a common problem.
