48 to 12 volt reducer ??????
Just thinking out loud and wondering if it would work are even be worth it.
48 volt reducer to 12 volts hooked up and on the 12 volt side of reducer hooking the ground to the frame of the cart and grounding all the 12 volt stuff like normal on a car using a fuse block. I just curious if it would make any difference since it ran through the reducer first. It would make wiring a lot easier since you wouldn't have to run ground wires back to the reducer. Just was thinking it would be a lot easier. |

Theoretically it would work....but I think there's probably some good reason it's not done. Somebody probably knows.

Re: 48 to 12 volt reducer ??????
You would need an "isolated" 48v->12v converter otherwise it would be the same as placing the pack negative cable on the frame.
