If you are talking about the axle nut, see photos below of using a broom or shovel handle as an axle holdback tool:

If your transaxle / differential spec is for non-detergent 30W oil, then that pump oil will work for you. Compressors and pressure washers just happen to use the same grade of oil.

Comparing apples to grapefruits, the spec for the transaxle in my Cushman is SAE 80W90 GL-5 (hypoid) multi-grade lubricant ... which is a more conventional specification for an automotive differential.

In case anyone cares, here’s how ten ounces of oil looks in the pan before installation. Be careful lifting it into position. My first attempt was a bit of a fail, lol.

Thanks for sharing. My first attempt at changing out the oil without removing the pan was a complete freakin mess.
