Rod holder for cart suggestions
I am looking for a rod holder that I can mount UNDER the top. One end by the windshield, and the other end above my head. Nothing above the top as I drive thru low brush & branches. Anyone know of a rod holder that can withstand heavy bumps or rough trails. The rods in the standard slip in type would easily not hold long enough.
Thanks for your ideas.. Billfo |

Re: Rod holder for cart suggestions
I once seen a rod holder that mounted to the safety grab bar on the back seat. I should have purchased it then, but have never been able to find one again. Anyone else seen one like that?

Re: Rod holder for cart suggestions
Maybe, the one i seen was rigid, had small rubber clips that the rids snapped into, and a metallic platform for the handle of the rod to rest in as it held about 6 rods in a vertical orientation.

Re: Rod holder for cart suggestions
I have these holding my rods in my garage. Might work. Maybe use four instead of two if they will be hanging upsidedown. Mine fit pretty snug on the wall. You can get these most marine shops for around $10 a set. Walmart may even sell them.
