Default I finally figured out my 1990 Ez-No Predator 420 swap

So I jumped into the Predator swap not realizing all the ones I saw were newer 4 stroke carts with reverse in the rear end. So being $500 invested and with no head kits for my old Robin I started engineering. I have a 14:1 gear ratio rear end in my cart. So I'm going to run a 40 series torque converter to a reversing unit and then from the reversing unit to a jack shaft with a large sprocket depending on the final gearing and then to a 10 tooth sprocket on the rear end where the drive belt went. This should allow me to play with the gearing to get it where I want and have reverse without too much hassle. I'm not looking for huge power so it should work out real nice with my stock 420. I'll keep you posted here on the progress.

Keep us updated. I looked at one just the other day but I didn't look that close. He said he had to run the engine the other way and he set up a jack shaft off the front of it, meaning the pto was forward in the cart. It has no reverse. But I didn't look real close at the rear how he connected it.
