I bought a brass bulkhead fitting. I hope I can reach my hand far enough inside the tank to fasten it. Also hope I don't drop it since brass isn't magnetic. <FacePalm>
It a vegas carts 625 big block.

We used plastic fittings and drilled a hole slightly undersize of the threads on the fitting. Slowly we were able to sort of "cut" threads into the top of the tank for the plastic fitting. When we were done it was a solid connection, but just as added insurance we used plastic epoxy to make a permanent connection.

Inline fuel filter just before the carb. Notice how the fuel stays full.

Love your setup, another has found the best setup yet for fueling a clone engine. These engines were designed for gravity feed - I tried electric pumps and vacuum pumps - both had let me stuck along the road.
I did this a couple of years ago and have had no problems sense then.
