Thanks Ron!

I can't wait to get it all buffed out and see what it looks like in the sun. I shot 2 coats of the pearl hoping that it wouldn't overtake the blue underneath. We did some spray out cards with 3 and 4 coats of the pearl and it really made the final result milky looking rather than blue...

I sat down last night after talking with a buddy that is an engineer and studied how to wire up the 48v -12v reducer, fuse block and the rocker switches. I know it's very redundant, but I have 6 switches that I can use. I'm thinking of taking the power from the voltage reducer to a rocker switch and then wiring the fuse block as an accessory. The air ride, stereo amp, lights, and usb charger will also be wired to switches to turn them on & off. If I'm thinking correctly, then engaging the fuse block rocker would be like turning on a main power key. Any wiring guru's out there feel free to chime in! This would leave me one switch left to possibly run some blue led interior lighting if I decide to go crazy....

Here are some pictures of this weeks progress.

Here are a couple more...

The seats are off getting redone and should be back next week.

And I think I will have one of my star students paint the 3 gallon air tank black to match everything else.

Wiring is all done on the dash panels. I ended up replacing the simple voltage reducer to one that operates off a key switch. I used 5 of the 6 rocker switches so I have a spare in case I think of another accessory that I want to add in the future. Not as clean as I would have like but it's the cleanest I knew how to make it.

I found some LED bulbs that plug into USB charging ports, so I placed one in each seat back tower to give it some Led glow at night. I also wired an USB charger into the cupholder so I can keep my phone going while playing pandora. I think Santa is bringing me the bluetooth stereo amp today!

We got the seats put back on yesterday. I'm super happy with the way they turned out! I asked her to keep the stitching in the same theme as what the stock covers were and I believe she nailed it.

I think the "bolster" or hump in the middle of the butt seat will help me from sliding around too much. Wish I had thought of having her put a cup holder in it that is Turvis Tumbler size....

We also installed the upper front body panel hopefully for the last time.

Shadow,
I used a Polyvance airless plastic welder for this project. I had a second set of body plastics so I cut skinny strips of the spare plastic to use as welding rod.

Question Re: Air ride G2 project

Spent the day at school working on the final assembly. Spent over 2 hours just getting the gas lid to hinge correctly... hind sight is always 20/20 but I should have figured all this out before paint. Nothin' a lil touch up can't take care of.

I had a buddy come by and look over the carts unlimited C54U wiring diagram to triple check that I have all the wiring straight. Have just one question in to ScottyB before I hook up the last battery cable and pray that there is no smoke...

Still need to color sand and buff the horizontal surfaces.

Any details on the Bluetooth Stereo Amp?
The Amp currently in my Cart is smoked.
