Type of rear end for high speed gears
I am planning on purchasing 8:1 gears for my 1998 DS gasoline cart. The serial number is AG9820. I have read that it has a "K" type rear end in the owners manual. To purchase the gears you need to specify the rear end type weather it be K or G or G3. Is there a way to identify the unit from the external casting? Mine has "Club Car" in a circle on the side of the casting but no other describable marks. I just want to order the right parts and hope someone can verify that it is a type "K" unit. I believe it is the original rear end.
