Question cable and controller questions

Hello, I am new to the golf cart world and have a few questions. I bought a 2002 club car 48v series, so far i have ordered a motor from plum quick and am in the process of changing the battery cables with 1/0 welding lead (free). 1 cable runs through what i understand to be an electronic charging control, the 1/0 cable will not fit the stock hole, do drill the hole larger or leave the stock cable in place and run the new cable around the electronic control? Next question, I want to buy a logisystems controller ( price) , does a club car use the 0 - 5k or the 5k - 0? Thanks in advance.

You can drill the hole bigger but I think you may leave well enough alone. A Club Car uses a 5k-0 ohm type throttle.

Edit* Very sleeepy whe I posted this sorry.

Leave stock cable alone, run second cable around. Everything will perform as it should this way, and you don't have to drill anything.
