How do I position the engine for proper belt alignment?
How do I position the engine for proper belt alignment?
I don't have the clutch in hand yet. It's a 94C # 209739A The crank is 4.25" long. Will there be any room to move the clutch in/out on the crank? How tight am I going to have to hold the alignment dimension? I looked around, trying to find a drawing or installation guide..... No luck. My clutch is *scheduled* to be here Tuesday afternoon, and this thing needs to be ready to rock Wednesday night. |

You should have ordered the clutch about a week sooner
In my opinion you need to have the clutch and belt in hand to do this. At least the clutch so you can line the sheaves up. |
