Club Car High Speed Gears

CC 2004 DS electric, I am going to put 8:1 high speed gears in the Graziano axle but I find 2 piece and 3 piece options. What is the difference?

It's likely the 3 piece as they are much more common. The bolt heads holding the differential haves together will be on the passenger side for the 3 piece. The heads of the bolts are on the driver's side for the less common 2 piece.
