2003 295 compression diagnoses
I have a 2001 txt shuttle 6. I purchased it several years ago and it had a 2003 295 rebuilt in 2009 with low compression. I've finally decided to do something about it. It runs okay, no smoke, no oil consumption, or leaks, just weak.
I adjusted the valves and then did both a dry and wet compression test. Dry compression test results = 80/82 on both cylinders. Wet compression test results =100/100 on both cylinders. My question is would these results indicate a problem with rings or the valves or possibly something else? Any advice on what direction I should take would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, in advance! |

Re: 2003 295 compression diagnoses
You probably see more threads on intake valves where you adjust them. Intakes sink in head over time. If it were me I would remove the engine and rebuild it. That way you know for sure
