Default SpeedyLink

Anyone know anything about the SpeedyLink for electric carts? Ran across the site the other night. Guarantees 4 to 5 mph faster on cart with stock wheels and tires.

It works as advertised as long as your cart is compatable with it.

It disables the speed sensor, which in turn disables the car from being able to slow itself down once it's reached it's "Top" speed based on speed setting.

Wouldn't the Plum Qwik motor do the same? Which would you suggest? The Speedylink or the Plum Qwik upgrade?

Speedy Link = 19mph

Plum Quick = 25mph
(without Speedy Link)

The PLUMQUICK does the same, and provides you with an upgraded motor in the process. Hence, the higher speeds.

I have the Speedy Link on my 06 Presedent. It works great. It allows the cart to get up to 19 MPH and disables the motor brake. It doesn't increase the acceleration, it just allows the speed to get up to 19+.

Yes it works basically the same... although the speed 4 setting still has speed limitations... 19.6MPH.... where the speedylink has none.. However, a stock IQ system on 18 inch tires won't reach speeds much higher than that to begin with. With a speed 4 upgrade you'll retain Pedal-Up regen braking and safety roll-away braking.

Thanks for all the info. Sounds like Plum Quick upgrade is the way to go for me.
